NVIDIA Expands G-Assist AI Model to More RTX GPUs with New Updates
NVIDIA has unveiled significant updates to its Project G-Assist at Gamescom, introducing a lightweight AI model that enhances support for RTX GPUs with as little as 6GB VRAM. The new model boasts 40% greater efficiency in VRAM usage, extending compatibility to laptop GPUs and broadening access to features like real-time diagnostics and voice-controlled settings adjustments.
The company also launched the G-Assist Plug-In Hub in partnership with mod.io, streamlining the discovery and installation of community-developed extensions. Meanwhile, NVIDIA's RTX Remix modding platform gains a path-traced particle system, further pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted gaming technology.
